I lived in the West Bank community for nearly 3 years and never met her. Too bad. She sounded like someone I would liked to have known that lived an interesting life.
I had a chance to know Connie for a few short years when we both lived on the West Bank.She lived the life and maintained a welcoming home there. Later I was delighted to find that she had moved to Puerto Escondido, Mexico, an incredibly magical town. I never made it to visit but kept in touch as I continued my immersion in Mexican life and culture. While she lived in Escondido and after she moved up into the mountains of Oaxaca she remained committed to learning and preserving Mexican culture, the earth and her beautiful Mexican environment.
